Some of you might know that I started Pook's Baked Goods as the answer to my friends and family asking me where they could buy all of the sweets I've written about and shared here on the blog. It was also my way of sharing the sweets I want with people who have allergies or intolerances to certain things making it impossible to find anything delicious.
When you've been working hard to start a small business, it can be difficult to step back and look at everything you've accomplished along the way. I also think that I inherited the whole "humble/acting awkward when accepting praise" thing from my dad because I am THE WORST at accepting compliments. But regardless, working at my booth on the weekends allowed me to get to know the community better, make cakes for special birthdays, and see people light up when they find out I offer something they can actually eat! Those are the moments when I step back and get to see all of the work I've done.
But what I really wanted to do was share some of my pictures I've taken of my booth. And if you're curious, go check out the website and let me know what you think!
And even better, if you live in the Columbus area, take a glance at the booths and venus I'll be selling at and grab a bite to eat.
