Whenever I get the chance, I'm always making something with chocolate. Chocolate chips are always in my artillery, tucked in the freezer. Usually in about 2 or 3 different kinds. So when the mood strikes, I'm always prepared. And for times like these when we're snowed in, what better way to make use of my time, than to make something chocolatey!
So today, while cruising through Bloglovin, I discovered this recipe for a Nutella Cookie Shake, by How Sweet it Is. It's a simple sweet treat you can just throw in the blender (or mix with a blending stick...but it ends up being a little messier...) and have with your favorite chocolate chip cookies! So I have my own version that I've shared below, or you can always go check out Jessica's, which is just as excellent!
Lots of Love guys!
Nutella Milk Shake
Makes 1 cup
1/2 cup of milk
2 scoops of your favorite vanilla, chocolate, or coffee ice cream
1 cup of crushed ice
1/2 cup of oats
2 heaping spoonfuls of nutella
1/4 cup of chocolate chips
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
A dash of cinnamon/salt (optional but it gives it a little extra something!)
Combine all of the ingredients above in your blender one at a time so everything blends thoroughly, depending on how thick you like your shakes, you can always add more ice cream accordingly!
